This is one of my favorite scarf patterns to create! It's made using a set group of stitches, known as a "shell," as well as some simple single- and double-crochet.
Shells and Stripes
Another pattern created by using a "shell." This one is a more recent (and complex) design, with a border as well.
Clamshell Scarf
One of the first patterns I experimented with was this pattern! The secret to making these "flowers" is where NOT to put your stitches.
Flowers Galore
This is probably the simplest scarf pattern I've learned, but it's one of the most fun to work on while watching YouTube! It's created using chains and double-crochet.
Ropes
This pattern is made using a repeating shell with a border around it. The way that the shells are so close together almost makes the midsection look like a field of flowers!
